After glancing at (but not doing) many snow globe tutorials, I decided to make my own snow globe. I used objects and presets
available in PhotoImpact 7. I had a little help from filters, mainly to make the windmill object look like it was distorted
by the globe (sphere filter). The base was taken from the Hourglass object in the
3d objects group from the
Path Library, from EasyPalette
in PI. The table was a path object with a white marble texture. The lighting made it look more peach. The globe was made out of two globe objects
because I felt it added more depth to the image.
